Come along to our fun open quilt classes, these popular sessions have been running on Sundays for over five years!
They are perfect if you want to learn about quilting, or have a busy schedule and need to make ’a date to sew’. Our tutor Liz, author of The Beginner’s Guide to Quilting is on hand to help and has a selection of patterns you can work from, including block quilts and applique or bring along your own ideas. There are machines set up so you just need materials and a rotary cutter (if you have one, if not we have plenty in the workroom).
Please note there is limited space to layer a quilt so if you are quilting this needs to be done before the class. We also advise booking a one-to-one if you need advice on a specific project or wish to design a quilt from scratch, as the classes can get busy.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.
Are you stuck on a quilt of have an idea but need some advice? Then book in a session with our resident quilt tutor. For more information contact the shop.
