Brighton Sewing Centre has been established for more than 25 years now, and came into our hands in February 2010. We’re carrying on the tradition of a friendly, local sewing shop; offering sewing machine repairs, extensive haberdashery, and even sewing lessons.

We’ve always been passionate about sewing and sewing machines. East Sussex – particularly Brighton – is a great centre of creativity, and so we want to share our passion for all things sew-able and get people sewing.

Customer service
We want everyone, no matter how experienced, to feel like they’ve got a sewing machine that they love. We’re happy to help you find the machine that’s right for you, we’ll show you how to use it, and you can even join one of our sewing classes if you’re unsure where to start. Then you can pop back any time if you ever get a question.

All the sewing machines and overlockers you find on this site are always in stock in our shop, so we can demo anything from software to buttonholes, without you needing to bring your own machine back in.
